Tania's Palace Residential Building
As a UX designer who is heavily passionate about design, some of my UX skills can also apply in the construction and architecture field. Being in this environment and learning about how a structure is being made from the back and front end taught me a lot about how design skills can be used in everyday things.

Design Thinking and Brainstorming
Throughout this projects I was able to work with various different types of Architects, Interior Designers and Engineers to have a better understanding of how buildings are made behind the scene. My role as the Interior Designer assistant was being taught how to use different kinds of softwares to design blueprints and giving suggestions on what materials could be used for the interior of the residence.
I was taught how to use softwares such as AutoCAD and Autodesk Revit to create blueprints and 3D models on the computer first in order to have an idea of how the structure would look before it was being built.
This taught me the importance of time, patience, constancy, creativity and teamwork; because without it, projects like this would not be made successfully.
Design Outcome
As the Interior Designer assistant I was able to learn about the importance of design in any space, whether that was through digital, graphic, web, mobile or architectural design, it amazed me how my passion for design could take me this far.
Being able to be apart of this project taught me how to build strong relationships with the people you work with, and how everyones ideas play a crucial role in each and every part of a design.
My UX design skills such as usability testing, prototyping, wire framing, research, and critical thinking is what helped bring my team and I's vision to life. The skills I was taught in UXD helped me understand what people actually wanted and how my designs could make them have a better experience of living in this kind of residence.
